Jed Batchelder is a healthcare IT advisor with over 15 years’ experience providing consulting services to large health systems, IPAs, ACOs and HCIT vendors.
In addition to leading large-scale HIE and EHR implementations, Jed has provided industry expertise to healthcare IT startups, and served as an IT strategic advisor to healthcare delivery organizations around the country.
Jed helped a 300-physician health system become an MSSP ACO by conducting an assessment of current clinical IT capabilities, designing a plan to provide interoperability to independent physicians within the PHO, leading the RFP creation and system selection process and developing an IT strategy to aggregate clinical data across the physician network.
Previously, Jed served on the steering committee that developed the State of Vermont HIT plan
In addition to co-authoring The Electronic Physician, Jed has been a contributor and author of numerous online healthcare IT publications.
