Lori Bishop is a finance and operations executive with more than 20 years of leadership experience, including more than a decade in the healthcare industry specifically focused on budgeting, cost accounting, financial planning, forecasting, capital budgeting, decision support and operational effectiveness.
Lori’s expertise is grounded in analytic sciences and practical application of strategy, financial analysis, technology and operational design. Her most recent consulting work includes developing integrated information technology and process strategies for clinical and financial systems in the healthcare reform era. This includes evaluating the financial and process implications of the conversion to ICD-10, Meaningful Use attestation, and physician adoption of CPOE and electronic documentation. She also has worked with private and public health information exchanges to develop sustainability models, develop data governance and stewardship approaches and identify user requirements to create ongoing use and adoption.
Lori previously served as the division CFO for a $2B global division of a Fortune 500 transportation company, where she drove the application of Lean Six Sigma principles, led negotiations for multimillion dollar contracts and shepherded the organization through several international and domestic acquisitions and divestitures. She has also held the position of Director of Revenue Management for a major cruise line, Assistant Controller for a non-profit hospital and Internal Auditor at a leading health insurance provider.
Lori holds an MBA with a Certificate in Health Management from Duke University and a BA in Accounting from Cedarville University.
